Sea Kayaking

The Summer Isle's are a sea kayaker's paradise. You don't have to take our word for it! Numerous guides and books have described this wonderful archipeligo thus and we are extremely priviledged to be able to enjoy and explore it on a regular basis.

We have a fleet of sea kayaks available for hire by those with suitable experience levels. We also supply; paddles, spray-decks and bouyancy aids, but not waterproof clothing nor any other equipment (such as dry bags) so please bring your own personal kit to keep you warm and dry whilst out on the water.

If you are new to the sport and would like to have some guidance and tuition we have two weeks worth of courses being run on the Island by Jules Macleod of NorWest Sea Kayaking in late May and early June. Each week will comprise two halfs; an 'introductory' phase followed by an 'intermediary phase'. Come for one or both and learn to enjoy this most wonderful of outdoor pursuits with a knowledgeable and passionate guide in an awe-inspiring location.
